Hello parents! Here it is- finally a place where you can come to and check out what is occurring within our classroom! This week we will be learning about the letter Aa. We will have many activities in which we practice writing the correct formation of the letter Aa, begin hearing the sound short a makes in words, and practice the -at family of words.
We will also begin our unit on Apples (which fits nicely both with the letter Aa study and also the season of fall!) We will be making many crafts, taste testing different kinds of apples, making graphs, learning about Johnny Appleseed, and even making our own applesauce!
